Behind the Wheel Driving Lessons

Since 1994, we have been the winner of the Safest Driving School fleet in Southern California, as per the National Safety Council.

The State MINUMUM requirement is 6 hours with a licensed Instructor and 50 with parent. Our recommendation over the 6 month process is 18-24 hours professional 80-120 hours with a parent. This makes a huge difference with Behind-the-wheel driving lessons at Dollar Driving School. Lessons are structured to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in a safe and controlled environment. Each lesson typically lasts for two hours, during which an experienced instructor will guide the student through various driving techniques and maneuvers.

Our instructors focus on building the student's confidence while driving in a variety of settings, including residential areas, busy streets, and highways. Emphasis is placed on essential skills such as lane changing, parking, and defensive driving techniques.
